THE NIGHTINGALE THEATER

The Nightingale Theater is a 501-(c) (3) non-profit arts facility, committed to providing a performance venue for independent writers, actors, and designers in the theater arts. Since opening in January, 2000, we have hosted over 400 productions, with over 1,000 actual performances, in addition to thousands of rehearsals. Although our focus is on original works from local artists, we also host touring artists from around the world in a wide variety of disciplines. For nearly a decade, we have provided Tulsa's only independent theater venue - a unique, vital, and indispensable local resource for theater arts.

Located on the East End of downtown Tulsa, the Nightingale is the jewel of the Pearl District, and an important anchor for downtown development. Our theater, cleverly converted from an industrial warehouse, consists of an office area, a black box stage and auditorium, and a backstage shop.
